Using a vibratory feeder drive, the pole caps are sorted correctly. A SCARA robot handles the gripper, achieving great flexibility and high speed. The system processes conical pole caps, as well as flat, square caps with and without latch hooks.
This allowed the customer to automate a complex manual process, improve quality, and be prepared for changing product layouts in the future.
